Eternal brilliancy over thousands years

Mr.Mitsuaki Yamashita the CEO of OKAJIMA Co.,Ltd, the Japanese leading veneer manufacture, displays the Bog-Oak veneered panel in their showroom. The wooden panel is not set like the ordinal wall-panel, but set like an "Art".

The Bog-Oak,the grain of the veneer is not so decorative, but it's simple grain is decorative enough to tell us their long story of it's mystic life, and it is sure to be called an "Art".
Normally the oak wood have the right white-pink color, but the Bog-Oak shows the black color due to the carbonization . This is come from their special life that they have been lied preserved underneath the blanket bog for thousands years!.It's like a Diamond!
You have already notice that why Mr.Yamashita have chosen such a simple grained Bog-Oak veneer instead of very decorative one?.
"The story of life get the better of figure." He explained.
